Where to celebrate Global Running Day in San Diego

Wednesday is Global Running Day, an international celebration of a sport that is surging in popularity San Diego and across the country.

Why it matters: Participation in endurance events jumped 8% in 2024 from a year earlier, and San Diego's Rock 'n' Roll marathon saw an 11% increase in full marathon participants last weekend.

Body Art Run Club has 5k runs all month on Mission Bay to observe the event.
