Little Free Libraries is partnering with TNT's new series "The Librarians: The Next Chapter" to open more little libraries in select cities, including San Diego.
The big picture: The show premiered May 25, and 10 new Little Free Libraries opened along with books and exclusive merch inside 200 existing libraries across the country.
Fun fact: The new libraries have a custom design inspired by the show and were donated to charitable organizations in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles and San Diego.
Zoom in: There are dozens of Little Free Libraries scattered around San Diego County.
- The special Librarians-themed one was installed at the Boys and Girls Club of Northwest San Diego over Memorial Day Weekend with books and trinkets that will be on display for about three months.
