Making moves on Hillcrest's promenade

The Hillcrest Farmer's Market is moving around the corner to University Avenue between Herbert Street and Park Boulevard starting this weekend.

Why it matters: The new location was prompted by construction starting on the Normal Street Promenade – a $26.8 million urban park that will transform the neighborhood and be the permanent home for the farmer's market and Pride activities.

Zoom in: The walkable promenade and plaza will span two city blocks, with green space, a playground and café in a repurposed street car planned.
