Downtown rooftop cinema debuts fireside films

• Guests can now watch a lineup of holiday movies like "Elf," "Love Actually," "The Holiday" and "Die Hard" in a cushioned Adirondack loveseat with a personal wood-burning heater and a complimentary hot beverage. 

If you go: It's an option for all films that start at 5pm or later, and weekend showings will be exclusively fireside films with less seats for a more intimate setting. Tickets are $21-30.

💭 My thought bubble: Watching "Home Alone" snuggled up with a blanket and the city skyline in the background was magical.   

• The chairs were comfy, the heaters were warm, and the snack options were top-tier without being overly expensive.
• The rooftop also has a bar and lounge area with lawn games like cornhole, cute backdrops and high top tables, perfect for a happy hour, date night or outing with friends. 

What to watch: The new fireside showings feature more than just holiday movies and will continue into the new year.
