🪧 Hundreds of hotel workers at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront ended their 38-day strike after ratifying a new four-year union contract Wednesday. It includes higher wages, more funding for workers' pension and health care, and improved policies for gratuity, PTO and holidays. (UNITE HERE Local 30)
Unionized workers at the Hotel Del Coronado will be proposing similar wages and working conditions in their new contract, likely preventing a strike at that property, Kate reports.
