It's time to make plans for the weekend in San Diego.

State of play: Big events range from a military air show to a reggae music festival on the water.

🎶 Mission Bayfest

The vibes will be high at this 3-day reggae music festival with a lineup that includes Wiz Khalifa, Iration, Stick Figure and more.

When and where: Friday 4-9pm, and noon-9pm on Saturday and Sunday at Mariner's Point Park in Mission Beach.

🎨 La Jolla Art & Wine Festival

Enjoy local and international artwork, drinks, food, live music and a silent auction while strolling through this pet and kid-friendly event.

When and where: Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm along Girard Avenue.

🎻 Jacobs Music Center Opening Night

Grab one of the few seats left for the newly renovated concert venue's "Welcome Home" performance by the San Diego Symphony Orchestra and solo artists.

When and where: Saturday at 6pm at the Jacobs Music Center downtown.

🛩️ Miramar Air Show

The exhilarating military air show is back with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor Demo and other aerobatic acts.

When and where: Friday through Sunday at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.

💃🏻 Trolley Dances

Ride the trolley and watch a series of choreographed performances in the streets at this annual event hosted by the San Diego Dance Theater.

When and where: Saturday and Sunday on the MTS Green Line Trolley downtown.
