The second daily train between Pittsburgh and New York City via Harrisburg and Philadelphia will start Nov. 18, PennDOT announced Tuesday.
Why it matters: This is the first time in decades that Pittsburgh is adding passenger train service.
Zoom in: Trains will leave Pittsburgh Union Station in Downtown heading eastbound at 7:10am and 1pm daily, according to Amtrak's website.
- The westbound trains will arrive back in Pittsburgh at 3:14pm and 9:54pm daily.
