Local alt-rock legends The Clarks performed the first-ever concert in the Pittsburgh Mayor's office Wednesday.
The intrigue: Mayor Corey O'Connor declared it "The Clarks Day" for the band's 40th anniversary.
- The Clarks started in 1986 playing shows at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, about an hour east of the city, and have since become essential for any local playlist.
Zoom in: The band performed "Better Off Without You," which was featured in the "The Pitt" last season, as well as "Penny on the Floor" and their big hit "Born Too Late."
