Local alt-rock legends The Clarks performed the first-ever concert in the Pittsburgh Mayor's office Wednesday.
The intrigue: Mayor Corey O'Connor declared it "The Clarks Day" for the band's 40th anniversary.
The Clarks started in 1986 playing shows at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, about an hour east of the city, and have since become essential for any local playlist.
Zoom in: The band performed "Better Off Without You," which was featured in the "The Pitt" last season, as well as "Penny on the Floor" and their big hit "Born Too Late."
