Paving season has begun

Zoom in: Paving will start with several Downtown streets surrounding Market Square, in and around Fort Duquesne Boulevard, and elsewhere.

By the numbers: Over 24 miles of streets will be repaved this year, according to a news release.

• The city is spending over $16 million this year to pave streets, make curb ramp upgrades, paint new markings and repair concrete.

Check for "no parking" signs ahead of paving.

• They will be posted on roads 48 hours before milling and paving work is expected to begin, per the city.
