Global flavors tucked into buns at Divvy in Oakland

An Oakland spot is divvying up flavors from around the world.

The intrigue: Divvy Coffee & Buns on Forbes offers a wide variety of international flavors, stuffed into easy-to-eat buns.

Dig in: I tried the Habibi Beirut bun — inspired by Lebanon — which was a fresh snack with crisp cucumber and thick, mild cheese. Very satisfying.

The Rio Carnival bun — inspired by Brazil — was indulgent, sweet and fun to share with vanilla cream, fresh fruit and ice cream on the side.
The fresh-baked bread was delicious.

The vibe: Casual and geared toward the college crowd (there's an accent wall with pink flowers perfect for Instagram).
