Top Oktoberfest events in Pittsburgh this fall

Pro tip: If you can't make any of the dates, just head over to Hofbräuhaus in the South Side, where it's basically Oktoberfest all year.

Penn Brewery, North Side

• This Friday and Saturday at the North Side brewery
• Free admission and parking, VIP tickets available
• German food, seasonal beers like Penn Pumpkin Shandy, and killer views of the Downtown skyline.

Pittsburgh Brewing Company, East Deer

• This Saturday at the large brewery complex
• $15 for 21 and older, $10 for ages 3-20
• A large tent with live bands, German food, craft vendors, and the exclusive return of Herman's Best Oktoberfest Lager.

Oktoberfest Pittsburgh, Downtown

• Oct. 2-Oct. 12 on the Roberto Clemente Bridge and Fort Duquesne Boulevard between Stanwix and 7th streets
• Free admission
• German fare and music, a biergarten under the festival tent, competitive stein holding contest, and a ferris wheel ($7 ticket required).

Golden Age Beer Co., Homestead

• Celebrating everyday through Oct. 5, with live entertainment Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Free entry
• Bratwurst, schnitzel and malty Oktoberfest beers. Entertainment is a mix of traditional and modern Bavarian culture.
