The 102.5 WDVE sign on a gold-glass building in Green Tree is coming down.
Why it matters: The sign is a landmark for drivers on the Parkway West (I-376 west of Downtown) heading into the city.
Context: The classic rock radio station moved out of the 200 Fleet St. building in 2021, and into new digs in South Fayette.
- The lease expired recently at 200 Fleet St., so the sign is being removed, WDVE host Chad Tyson posted Thursday on X.
The latest: Tyson tells Axios that listeners shouldn't interpret the sign's removal as the radio station's demise.
