The inaugural class of Pittsburgh's Walk of Fame is here — and it's stacked with some of Western Pennsylvania's greatest cultural forces:
Fred Rogers, Rachel Carson, Michael Keaton, Roberto Clemente, Andy Warhol, Nellie Bly, George Benson, Jonas Salk, Andrew Carnegie and August Wilson.
Context: Each will be honored with a star and story embedded in the sidewalk at The Terminal in the Strip District in October. Keaton is expected to attend and Benson will give pre-recorded remarks.
Your turn: Who do youthink deserves a star next year? They must have national significance and strong Western Pennsylvania ties.
