RIDC's Mill 19 was honored by The American Institute of Architects as one of the best-designed contemporary buildings in the country.

Anchored by Carnegie Mellon's Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing and other tech partners, it features 263,000 square feet of workspace, one of the nation's largest rooftop solar arrays, rainwater recycling and a public promenade.
Judges praised the building for its sustainable design by Minnesota-based architect MSR Design and Pittsburgh-based associate architect R3A Architecture.
