✝️ Pope Leo XIV named Bishop Mark Eckman, a Bethel Park native and longtime parish priest, as the 13th bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh — replacing Bishop David Zubik, who is retiring at 75 after leading the diocese since 2007.
Eckman will be installed on July 14 at a special Mass at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland. (KDKA)
