Here are some clues:

• The site was built in the 1930s as the first of its kind in the world — marking the start of civilian nuclear research for peacetime energy use.
• The 65-foot-tall, pear-shaped tower was toppled from its base in 2015, but remains a relic that anyone can visit just outside of the city.
• Its former owners are headquartered in Cranberry Township.
