Local business owners can now apply for subcontracting opportunities tied to Pittsburgh's 2026 NFL Draft.
Why it matters: The city expects to welcome 500,000 to 700,000 visitors during the draft next year, and hopes to exceed the $213 million economic impact generated by Detroit in 2024.
The Draft Source program is designed to make sure local businesses benefit directly from the event.
How it works: Applications open today and close April 30.
Selected businesses will join a 10-month program giving them visibility to NFL buyers.
Zoom in: Local businesses providing services like event staffing, catering, fencing, transportation, signage, security and food trucks are in high demand.
The big picture: Accepted businesses will be added to an NFL supplier directory used by teams, sponsors and partners — giving them opportunities long after the draft ends.
