Spooky season is open for business across Greater Cincinnati, with haunted houses, trails and one very creepy amusement park welcoming victims — er, visitors.
🎢 Halloween Haunt at Kings Island: The after-dark takeover runs select nights Sept. 25-Oct. 31, bringing scare zones, live entertainment and most rides after dark.
- Pro tip: Haunted mazes cost extra, and the event isn't recommended for children under 13.
👻 Historical Haunts: Waynesville's Museum at the Friends Home turns its historic village into a ghost story, with evening walks featuring local lore, legends and tales of unexplained happenings. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31.
💀 Brimstone Haunt: The Wilmington attraction is celebrating 10 seasons of scares with a Haunted Hayride through Brimstone Farm, The Bog in the woods and the new Boogeyman, where you'll be trapped in a creepy 1960s Victorian home.
👹 Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park: Six attractions await at this Middletown scream park, from the 1-mile Middletown Haunted Trail to Dr. Psycho's Haunted Estate and Killer Klowns.
🏚️ Poasttown Elementary School: This former Middletown-area school has traded classrooms for paranormal investigations, giving ghost hunters a chance to explore one of the region's most talked-about haunted sites.
🕯️ Dayton Lane Ghost Walk: Hamilton's historic Dayton Lane neighborhood comes alive with tales of residents past and present — and the spirits said to still linger among its historic homes. The 23rd annual ghost walk is Oct. 24.
💀 Dayton Scream Park: Halloween has already arrived in Dayton, with four haunted attractions, monsters and special effects turning this outdoor park into a full night of scares.
🔥 Hell's Dungeon: This east Dayton haunt keeps things indoors, filling its attraction with elaborate sets, creepy characters and plenty of opportunities to jump.
