One of America's best cideries is right here in Mesa

Driving the news: Cider Corps ranked fifth nationwide for best cidery in USA Today's reader-voted 10 Best awards.

• Its Mango Foxtrot, a 7% cider made with mango and rosehips, took fourth place in the best cider category.

Flashback: Brothers Josh and Jason Duren opened the veteran-owned spot in downtown Mesa in 2017 after cider-making became part of Jason's recovery from injuries sustained in Afghanistan.

What to expect: About 12-15 rotating ciders, slushies and canned four-packs, plus Myke's Pizza and Pair Cupworks.

If you go: Tuesday Trivia runs 7-9pm and Thursday bingo 7-9pm — with a $5 donation going toward veterans and their families.
