Rep. Mark Alford (R) addressed how he would represent a new, more urban 4th District on social media.
The big picture: He says the Missouri Supreme Court fixed the 2010 map, which he claims gave Rep. Emanuel Cleaver a 5th District that was 94% white and reached into central Missouri.
No more drawing congressional districts based on race. And that's the way it SHOULD be!!!!

Reality check: It's the new 5th that reaches into central Missouri, and the new map that splits KC along the historically redlined Troost Avenue.
The 2010 map did extend the 5th District into central Missouri, but the 2020 boundaries restricted it to the KC metro.
