Butterflies, flowers and bright bursts of color meet you on your way in and out of The Antler Room, all thanks to the latest Parade of Hearts sculpture on the block.
Zoom in: The piece is called "Cultivating Hope & Growing Harmony," by mixed-media artist Leslie L. Mason. She calls her style "whimsical," which lands the second you see it.
The heart mixes bright pops of pink, orange, teal and yellow wrapped in a black-and-white striped border.
Mason says she framed the flowers and winged creatures as a stand-in for people from all walks of life growing together in peace, understanding and a little bit of color.
💭 Abbey's thought bubble: This piece gave me the strangest hit of 2000s nostalgia. My bedroom was always covered in flowers and butterflies, and this heart took me back.
