How to watch the Royals, Sporting KC and KC Current

It's March, which means it's the start of soccer and baseball seasons — and a lot of watching games on TV.

The big picture: Kansas City is a sports town, but that doesn't mean we have the money to attend every game.

The Royals

The MLB will stream the Royals this year after a contract with FanDuel Sports Network fell through due to financial concerns.

Select games will air on KCTV5 for free, but most will be through various packages at Royals.TV.
A subscription to access every local game costs $100.

Apple TV will host every MLS game this year, including Kansas City's boys in blue.

A subscription costs $13 per month, which totals $130 if you watch through the postseason.

The NWSL has multiple providers that change depending on the game, which can be seen on the Current's schedule:

ION, which is free through Tubi with a login.
ESPN+, which costs $30 a month.
NWSL+, which is free to stream online with a login and is made available on certain other streaming platforms.
