Whether you were lucky enough to snag Chappell Roan tickets this weekend or want to avoid the chaos around the venue, here's what to know.
The big picture: Grammy winner Chappell Roan is bringing her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things tour to her home state on Friday and Saturday.
- Both nights are general admission. In other cities, fans have lined up hours before doors opened, but in Kansas City, gates officially open at 4pm and the music starts at 6:30 p.m.
Japanese Breakfast will open Friday's show, and Baby Tate will open on Saturday.
Between the lines: The stage sits on the southeast lawn of the World War I Memorial. The main entrance is at Kessler Road and Memorial Drive, and there is no re-entry.

- There is no official event parking. The closest garages are at Union Station and Crown Center, though they will likely fill quickly.
- The KC Streetcar will run every 10–12 minutes and stop a short walk from the venue.
- Rideshare pick-up and drop-off will be along Grand Boulevard.
- The walk from transit stops is uphill, so wear comfortable shoes.
If you go: Only clear bags are allowed, though lockers will be available if yours do not meet requirements.
- ADA parking will be offered off Wyandotte with a free shuttle from 32nd and Broadway. An accessibility hub will be set up just west of the gates.
Yes, but: Even if you are not attending, you will feel the impact.
- Traffic around Memorial Drive, Kessler and Wyandotte will clog during peak arrival and departure.
- Add extra travel time or reroute a few blocks away.
💭Abbey's thought bubble: This weekend is a glitter-drenched homecoming with drag performers, pink cowboy hats and thousands of fans screaming along with gay anthems. My type of night.
The bottom line: Plan ahead. Whether you're fighting for front row or just trying to dodge traffic, KC's Midwest princess will set the pace downtown this weekend.
