👋 I'm back! In case you missed our newsletter's outros the past week, I've been on vacation futzing around the fjords and falls of Iceland.
Why it matters: I had such a great time, I'm going to tell you about it.
What I did:
The Fimmvörðuháls trail, a strenuous path that starts at an epic waterfall and crosses between glaciers. I did it as part of the 5VH Trail Run, a race that covered 28 km, ascended about 4,600 feet, and thoroughly humbled me.
Puffin watching around VÃk — specifically the Dyrhólaey Lighthouse and the Reynisfjara black sand beach.

The Golden Circle, stopping at must-sees like Brúarfoss, Gullfoss, Geysir and Þingvellir National Park.
The Glymur trail, a tough hike that goes up and over Iceland's second-tallest waterfall while offering spectacular views of the Hvalfjörður Fjord.
💬 Thought bubble: Iceland feels like another planet. In one week, I saw active volcanoes, hot springs, glaciers, fjords, and every color of rock and flower you could imagine. Talk about drama.

The big picture: You should go to Iceland.
Special thanks to Abbey for holding down the fort by herself while I was off traipsing about. (Producing a newsletter by yourself is no small feat!)
