In May, Abbey reported on Port KC's eco-friendly grazing program, which used a herd of four-legged landscapers to tame the unruly landscape along the Riverfront Heritage Path.
They wrapped up in June — much to the chagrin of the passersby.
The latest: Pedestrians accessing the trail from the River Market can look down from the Town of Kansas Bridge and see the new herd happily munching away.
"Their ability to consume such a wide range of plants and to access difficult-to-reach areas makes them the perfect maintenance solution for the Berkley Riverfront terrain," Port KC said in a statement.
