Meet Abbey
👻 I grew up a military kid and moved constantly, but Kansas City is home. I graduated from UMKC (go Roos!) and now live downtown in a loft old enough to definitely be haunted.
☕️ I've worked in broadcast news and digital media, but nothing beats reporting in a city where strangers say hello, coffee shops double as offices, and every neighborhood has a story to tell.
🐱 When I'm not working, I'm reading, hanging with my cats (Walter Croncat and Katie Purrrric. I love puns), and very seriously investigating where to find the best sugar cookie in town.
Meet Travis
✍️ I moved to Kansas City in 2019 to work as a web producer for FOX4. Since then, I've written for KCtoday and edited for the Washington Post.
📰 I graduated from the Missouri J School (Mizzou-rah!) and live in an old shoe factory downtown with my wife and mini Aussie rescue pup.
🐶 When I'm not enjoying long walks along the (Shawnee Mission Dog Park) beach, you might find me with a post-run pint of Sandy Dunes on River Bluff's patio or in a hammock down at Berkeley Riverfront.
