Former Sporting KC midfielder Gadi Kinda has died

What they're saying: "He had an energy and a spirit about him, but he was quiet and humble," interim Sporting KC manager Kerry Zavagnin tells Axios. "He trained in a very passive way, but when the lights went on for games, he had a spark that you couldn't contain."

• After two successful seasons and an injury in 2022, Kinda moved back to Israel to be with his family and play for the country he grew up in.
