Photos du jour: One last shot from London

We're back to your regularly scheduled programming here at Axios Huntsville.

Catch up quick: I was in London the first half of this week helping cover Huntsville's trip to the Farnborough Air Show, where city economic development officials — and local companies — worked to bring more business to the Rocket City.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Here's some takeaways for the Anglo-curious:

🍟 Put malt vinegar on your "chips" when you order fish and chips. I failed to do this, and when I told some locals about it, they scoffed. So I ordered them again.

• It really does turn the umami-ness of the dish up to 11.

🚂 Take the train: It's kind of slow (at least the ones I rode), and there's a bit of a logistical learning curve, but it is cheap and convenient and shows you a bit of the scenery beyond the city.

• It lets you imagine what it would be like if the U.S. had such a robust rail infrastructure, especially in light of Huntsville's recent investment in potential passenger rail. (It would be great).

🌳 Soak it in: I only had a few hours to play tourist, really, but that was enough for London to surprise me.

• First, it's much greener than I thought. Parks, gardens and mature trees abound. As does art.
• On the route between the hotel and the train station for example, was the "graffiti tunnel," under Waterloo Station, which was a nice change of scenery in the middle of a busy day. I even got to see a work in progress.
