My backyard isn't the only one springing to life.

The big picture: Spring is in full swing, and as farmer's markets ramp up and backyard gardens get into gear, I asked y'all for some updates last week.

Zoom in: Grant S. reported in an email to Axios that his, "peppers, beans, and cucumbers are coming along. And the pole bean trellises went in last week!"

• He also planted 30-ish trees and shrubs.

💭 Derek's thought bubble: That's one aesthetically pleasing backyard, and some very nice cages for the raised beds.

• Mine is ... less neat, and I just surrender to the rabbits and squirrels (it's a numbers game for me).
