After our Axios Live event at Stovehouse on Thursday, a few members of the team hopped over to The Flying Biscuit for breakfast.
The big picture: It was the first time for myself, Publisher Nicholas Johnston and Axios Local Managing Editor Mike Szvetitz.
And the food was 3-for-3 on hitting the spot.
💠Publisher's thought bubble: Even ordering just sides, that was a formidable breakfast.
And considering the breakfast cocktails (not ordered on a Thursday morning) are doubles by default, The Flying Biscuit is not a place to be trifled with.
I would very much like to try the hash (topped with chicken tenders?) for Sunday brunch after a late Saturday night. Oh, and the beignets are actually made like hush puppies.

💠Derek's thought bubble: I had the Flying Biscuit Breakfast. Going to a new place, I usually order the "No. 1" so to speak, and the biscuit with apple butter, grits, bacon and eggs did not disappoint.
The bottom line: I love it when the bosses visit, because I get to do a tour de Huntsville restaurants. More on that later!
