Easter weekend happenings

It could be a rainy weekend, but don't let that dampen your plans.

📆 Here's a few options if you're still scratching your head.

🪺 EGGstravaganza at John Hunt Park; Saturday, 10am-noon

• The family-favorite EGGstravaganza egg hunt returns for a fifth year to the Loretta P. Spencer Sports Complex at John Hunt Park.
• The free celebration includes egg hunts for kids 12 and under, inflatables, interactive crafts and games, food trucks and more.

🧺 Easter Jubilee 2026 at Burritt on the Mountain; Saturday 11am-3pm

• Burritt's annual Easter Jubilee is set for Saturday, for normal admission prices ($12 for adults, $8 for kids 3 and older).
• Collect eggs and treats, pan for gems at the sluice, meet the barnyard animals and make some Easter crafts to take home.

🛍️ Lowe Mill Outdoor Market; Saturday, 11am-4pm

• Lowe Mill's Outdoor Market kicks off Saturday, running weekly through October 24.
• Check out vendors with hand-made, secondhand and homegrown goods.

👖 Denim Sunday Cookout at the Orion Amphitheater; Sunday, 3pm-8pm

• Put on your best denim fit for the second annual Denim Sunday Cookout at the Orion on Saturday.
• Live DJs, artists and musicians, kid-friendly activities, food trucks, barbecue and a fish fry are all in the works. Tickets are $30.
