City Barbeque opens Feb. 9 off Memorial Parkway near Hobbs Road in South Huntsville.
Why it matters: The Rocket City loves its barbecue, so as far as Axios Huntsville is concerned, the more the merrier!
Zoom in: The restaurant, at 11544 Memorial Parkway SW, will be Ohio-based City Barbeque's first foray into Alabama.
On offer will be meats hickory-smoked on site with sides and desserts made in-house from scratch every day.
The location offers dine-in, carry-out or group catering, from a space "built for locals to share authentic barbeque with family and friends," an announcement says.
What they're saying: Mike Muldoon, CEO and president of City Barbeque, said the team is excited to bring its first Alabama location to Huntsville.
"We've been smoking barbeque for over 25 years, and we are proud to now be a part of the Alabama barbeque community," he said.
