One Table Huntsville took over Big Spring Park Monday, offering free Thanksgiving meals to anyone who wanted to come have a seat.
The big picture: The annual event, hosted by Village of Promise, fed about 1,500 people last year, and was on its way to beating that in the midst of Monday's meal, said Cheri Wilson, chief development officer.
- The one large table, snaking through Big Spring Park, was abuzz at lunchtime, and thanks to presenting sponsor Bentley Buick GMC, Wilson said, all funds from other sponsors can go back to Village of Promise's mission.
The bottom line: Nobody went hungry at Big Spring Park on Monday.
