The 13th annual Huntsville Restaurant Week starts next Friday, with a brand new app and new restaurants for the ambitious Rocket City eater.
Why it matters: We're hungry, and the 10-day event on Aug. 8-17 offers exclusive menus and special deals at Huntsville's top restaurants.
- Around 65 restaurants are participating so far, and each has been asked to feature an exclusive dish or a seasonal ingredient, said Pam Williams, who spearheads the event for Huntsville's Convention & Visitors Bureau.
How it works: First, pre-sign up for the updated 2025 Rocket City Dish Pass, which goes live tomorrow.
- The mobile-friendly tool is the only way to access the exclusive deals at local restaurants, and the only way to check in when you do.
- "Each time that you attend an event, or each time you dine out in one of the participating places, make sure you check in," Williams said. "Each check in is an entry into our grand prize."
Zoom in: That grand prize? A two-night stay at 106 Jefferson with a $100 gift card to the Von Braun Center box office, an experience for six with Touronimo and a specialty food tour for two with Scenethat Tours.

The bottom line: "Our local restaurants are an integral part of our identity as a premier travel destination, and Culinary Month is just as much a celebration for our restaurants as it is for visitors and locals," CVB President and CEO Jennifer Moore said in an announcement.
