Hollywood voters weighed in on several important races and local ballot questions during Tuesday's midterm elections.
Here are the unofficial results from the races we were watching, with all but one precinct reporting:
City Commission District 1: Catherine Uden was on to track to defeat Brian Parúas and Itzhack Feldman in the race to succeed Caryl Shuham.
City Commission District 3: Alex Recio appeared headed for victory over David Raskind for term-limited Traci Callari's seat.
City Commission District 5: Adam Roberti was on track to defeat Erin Marvasti to replace term-limited Kevin Biederman.
City Charter Amendment: Voters were on track to approve Question 1, which would require a five-sevenths vote of the city commission to approve a lease of city property that's 20 years or longer.
- It also would require voter approval for leases lasting 50 years or longer and sales of city-owned property, parks, golf courses or recreational facilities, historically designated property and property east of the Intracoastal Waterway.
- Sales and leases of public land have come under scrutiny, given the controversial 1301 Project.
Question 2: Voters appeared to approve the sale or transfer of beachfront property north of the Dania Beach Pier to the county.
House District 101: Democrat Todd Delmay was on track to upset incumbent Hillary Cassel.
Congressional District 24: Democrat Oliver Gilbert defeated Republican Te Broward to succeed U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, per the Associated Press.
Congressional District 25: Democratic U.S. Rep. Jared Moskowitz beat former Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer in the redrawn district that stretches from Miami-Dade to Palm Beach counties, according to the AP.
School Board referendum: Broward voters approved the proposal to renew a property tax to fund teacher pay, school safety personnel and mental health professionals, unofficial election results show.
