Mouth-watering cinnamon bread shop opening in Hollywood Beach

What they're saying: "We've been manifesting this for quite some time, and then to see it come to fruition is pretty cool," co-owner Eddie Diaz tells Axios.

Catch up quick: Husband and wife duo Eddie and Betty Diaz, both longtime educators, built a following for its signature hot cinnamon bread covered in cream cheese icing after opening at the Yellow Green Farmers Market in 2020.

• Their first storefront in Plantation opened two years ago, where they sell their classic bread, limited-edition cinnamon flavors, savory pastries, empanadas and coffee.
• But they've always wanted to open a shop along their favorite beach.

What to expect: Eddie says the new location will be a smaller space with more grab-and-go options and new menu items.

• The space will be decorated with spooky decor and art, much like its other location.
• They plan to hit customers' five senses between the artwork that'll come to life through augmented reality and the smell of the gooey cinnamon bread.

What's next: They aim to open in January.

• It'll be open seven days a week with longer hours, whereas Plantation is only open Wednesday-Sunday.
