Wells Coffee is a go-to work spot in Flagler Village

Wells Coffee in Flagler Village has become one of my favorite spots for good coffee (or matcha), a quick bite and a productive work session.
State of play: It's a roastery and coffee shop all in one.
- If you're lucky, you may even catch employees roasting coffee beans while you're there.
The vibe: Wells has plenty of tables inside and onside. The smell of freshly roasted coffee typically fills the room.
- It's a serious work-from-café operation. There are plenty of outlets, even extension cords. Some regulars bring their own laptop stands.
- Pups are welcome, too, making for the perfect mid-workday pick-me-up.
What I'm drinking: You can't go wrong with the coffee, but lately I've been enjoying the matcha latte.
- It's not too sweet or too grassy, and it's just the right shade of green, a sign of a solid matcha-to-milk ratio.
Best bites: I recently tried the vegan kale artichoke empanada.
- It's a flavorful, satisfying snack packed with big pieces of artichoke.
