Florida Panthers games to mark on your calendar

If you didn't receive 84 notifications on X from the Florida Panthers on Thursday as part of their 2026-27 schedule release, here are some key games you may have missed.

State of play: The NHL is expanding from 82 to 84 games to create a balanced number of divisional games.

Each team will play two home and two road games against its divisional opponents.

Interestingly, the Panthers will host two weekday games at Amerant Bank Arena.

Here are some highlights from the schedule:

Sept. 29 @ Carolina Hurricanes, 5pm.

The Panthers open the NHL season as the Hurricanes lift their Stanley Cup banner.

Oct. 10 vs. Minnesota Wild, 6pm.

Home opener!

Oct. 21 @ Ottawa Senators, 7:30pm.

Brady Tkachuk returns to Ottawa for the first time since being traded this offseason.

Nov. 28 vs. Tampa Bay Lightning, 6pm.

The Panthers face their in-state rival three more times: Dec. 26 in Sunrise, 6pm; away on Feb. 16, 7pm, and March 23, 7pm.

Dec. 3 @ Toronto Maple Leafs, 7pm.

The team faces former star goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky for the first time.

Feb. 18 vs. New Jersey Devils, 7pm.

Fan-favorite Evan Rodrigues, who was traded this offseason as part of the deal for goalie Jacob Markstrom, returns to Sunrise.

March 6 vs. Toronto Maple Leafs, 7pm.

Bobrovsky finally returns to his former home.

April 10 vs. Carolina Hurricanes, 6pm.
