What's happening this weekend in Colorado Springs

🕺 Electric Avenue: the '80s MTV Experience is taking over the Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30pm today. Expect '80s songs and attire. Tickets start at $47.

🥁 If you want to go more modern, try All Your Friends, an indie dance party at 8:30pm Friday at the Black Sheep. The music will include the Killers, Arctic Monkeys, the Strokes, MGMT and more. Tickets are $23.18.

🐂 Let's go, cowboy. The Pikes Peak or Bust Parade returns Saturday after organizers reversed an earlier cancellation. The parade starts at 11am on Tejon Street between St. Vrain and Vermijo. Other activities include the Lil' Cowpokes Stick Horse Races at 10am. Free.

🐴 The El Paso County Fair returns to Calhan at noon Saturday and runs through July 18. See demolition derby, rodeo and auto races, along with animals like alpacas and llamas. Tickets start at $8.
