Colorado Springs Switchback lands Haiti call-up

Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC defender Duke Lacroix has been named to Haiti's national team roster for World Cup qualifying play.

Why it matters: Lacroix — whose parents were both born in Haiti — appeared in five of the country's six qualifying matches.

State of play: Haiti opens Group C play on June 13.

What we're watching: Switchbacks midfielder Steven Echevarria also appeared in World Cup qualifying matches for Puerto Rico, which has not yet announced its final roster.
