After our big "Evening with Axios" event last Thursday night, a crew of colleagues made the pilgrimage to one of the only spots in town still serving food after 9pm — Night Ramen.
The vibe: Glowing overhead lanterns, waving gold lucky cats and cool menu art gave the space an effortlessly hip late-night noodle-joint energy.
Its corner positioning with a handful of outdoor tables immediately made me think I should bring my kids here for a sunset slurp session.
Dig in: My coworkers were hangry, so appetizers hit the table fast.
Both the spicy and the salty edamame were perfectly charred and generously seasoned.

The other side of the table ordered the potstickers and a fiery cucumber dish tossed with gochu sauce, sesame and pickled chilies.
Best bites: 🍜 The ramen, of course.
The table ordered a selection of the soupy noodle bowls, but Axios' Mountain West managing editor Hadley Malcom and I both opted for the Tokyo Shoyu with kimchi on the side, and were not disappointed.
