Chili's ad with Snooki helps Florence, Kentucky go viral

What's happening: Chili's is leaning into Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's famously ditzy persona in a new ad for its Chicken Parm Big Crispy sandwich that mixes up the Northern Kentucky city with its Italian namesake.

• It launched here as well as Rome, Georgia, and Venice, Florida — three cities with decidedly cheaper airfare than their Italian counterparts.

The funny part: The ad takes the leopard-clad "Jersey Shore" to the Florence Y'all water tower, Florence Mall and a well-stocked Michaels.

• Who needs Michelangelo's masterpieces when you've got glitter glue and a 40% off coupon?

💭 My thought bubble: The campaign doesn't go nationwide until Oct. 20, but it's already all over my feed.

• Will it make me buy a chicken sandwich? Probably. Snooki isn't getting credit for that, though. Chicken parm sells itself.
