🎢 Halloween Haunt at Kings Island: The after-dark event runs select nights Sept. 25-Oct. 31, with scare zones, live shows and most rides included with park admission.

Pro tip: Haunted mazes cost extra, and the event isn't recommended for children under 13.

👻 The Dent Schoolhouse: The West Side institution celebrates its 30th season with upgraded audio, a revamped finale and an expanded Monster Midway. It's open select nights through Halloween, with a lights-on tour Oct. 25 and Lights Out on Nov. 7.

💀 Mt. Healthy Haunted Hall: This community-run nonprofit haunt returns Oct. 2-31 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Now in its 37th year, it's operated by members of the Knights of Columbus Madonna Council and local Scout troops. Admission is $15.

In Northern Kentucky

🚢 USS Nightmare: The Newport attraction turns the historic dredge William S. Mitchell into a floating nightmare across two decks. General admission starts at $27, with an even more intense Captain's Extreme Tour Nov. 6-7.

🌽 Scream Ridge: Head to Walton for multiple haunted attractions, including the Torture Barn, Carnival of Screams and Killing Field, plus bonfires, food, games and vendors.
