Westwood is Cincinnati's biggest neighborhood, but the perfect day fits into one surprisingly walkable pocket — coffee, plants, shopping, food and fun within just a few blocks.
☕ Start at Fable Cafe: It's one of our favorite coffee stops, especially with a kid in tow.
- Why I love it: It's genuinely kid-friendly, and the seasonal cold foam-topped coffees are worth lingering over.
🪴 Next stop: Frond. As a houseplant fanatic, I'm incapable of walking past this neighborhood plant shop.
- Why I love it: The shop is named for the Frondorfs, a lovely local couple who make browsing half the fun.
💐 Browse Montclair Street: Think fresh and dried flowers, cookbooks and hosting finds you didn't know you needed.
- Why I love it: It's basically inspiration for making your house prettier — right after you bought another plant.
🍔 Lunch at Nation: We've raved about this fire station-turned-burger joint before. Grab a patio table when the weather cooperates.
- Why I love it: The Piggy Smalls and Red & Bleu are awesome options. So are the tater tots — my husband is a devoted fan.
🕹️ Play at Wondercade: Walk off lunch with a few rounds at Westwood's neighborhood arcade.
- Why I love it: Old-school games and another short walk.
🛝 Let the kid loose: Burn off some energy at the playground outside Westwood Town Hall.
🍽️ Feeling fancy? Make dinner the splurge at W Bar + Bistro or Ivory House.
🍷 One last stop: Swing by Sublime Wine for a bottle to take home.
