Cincy cannabis industry lands high roller

State of play: King City spent months expanding its cultivation and processing capacity to attract the nation's best-selling pre-roll brand, co-founder Caveh Azadeh said.

• The veteran-owned company added 50 employees over the past three months and expects to grow to 80 workers within the next three months as production ramps up.

Zoom in: California-based Jeeter is best known for its infused pre-rolls — ready-to-smoke cannabis joints made with flower, cannabis oil and kief.

• A launch is planned for The Garden dispensaries, with a wider rollout to follow at licensed dispensaries statewide.

The big picture: The debut comes after Ohio recorded more than $836 million in recreational marijuana sales in 2025, its first full year of adult-use sales.

• Total Ohio sales have surpassed $1 billion since the market launched in August 2024, while medical marijuana generated another $233 million in sales last year.
• Ohio now has 190 dual-use dispensaries, creating demand not only for retailers but also for cultivators, processors and manufacturers that support the industry's supply chain.
