The annual Butterfly Show through Aug. 9 is a Cincinnati summer tradition. Kids under 5 get in free and admission for older kids is just $8.
3. 🥾Go creek stomping
French Park and California Woods are local favorites for splashing through shallow creeks, skipping rocks and spotting crawdads.
4. 🛝 Spend the day at Summit Park
One of the region's best playgrounds also hosts free summer movies, concerts and family programming.
5. 📚 Let the library do the entertaining
The Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library hosts free story readings, crafts, STEM activities, performers and reading challenges all summer.
6. ☕️ Storytime at Fulton Yards Coffee
Every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., the shop hosts free "Toddler Tuesdays." Little ones hear a story, talk about it and complete a themed coloring activity while parents and caregivers enjoy coffee and connect with other families.
7. 🎨 Pop into Pop-Up Play
Washington Park also hosts free Tuesday activities including crafts, games, yoga and special guests through the summer.
8. 🖼️ Explore the Cincinnati Art Museum
