This week marks a decade since the 14th Dalai Lama visited Boulder.

Flashback: The visit was organized by the Tibetan Association of Colorado in conjunction with Naropa University and CU Boulder.

• His Holiness made a series of appearances on June 23, 2016 — his second time in Boulder.

Zoom in: As is his tradition, the Dalai Lama punctuated most of his outings with increasingly ill-fitting headwear.

My thought bubble: As someone who also has a large noggin, I've never felt more connected to a spiritual leader.
