Boulder sets heat records over the weekend

As expected, Boulder experienced a hot, record-setting weekend.

The latest: The city set several heat-related records, according to BoulderCAST.

• Record highs extended from last Wednesday through Saturday.
• That four-day period also marks the longest 80-degree stretch in the month of March for the city.
• Saturday's high of 89 set a new record for the hottest March day ever recorded in Boulder.
• Boulder barely missed out on its earliest 90-degree day, but did record its earliest ever 85-degree day last Thursday.
