Boulder celebrated a different kind of "going green" with a jaunt around the block on Saturday.
The city held its annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade between 15th and 16th streets on Pearl Street.
Catch up quick: The event started in the 1983 when a group of St. Patrick's Day revelers wanted to hold a party, but didn't want to do the work of organizing.
While its title is self-proclaimed, nobody has challenged it yet.
The vibe: This year's parade featured the Paddy O' Furniture Drill Team, a parade of Irish wolfhounds and dancing, according to the Daily Camera.
My thought bubble: Now, if only Boulder still had an Irish pub downtown.
