Investigatorswere still unable to enter the burned remains of the south strip mall at Nederland's Caribou Village more than 24 hours after the blaze had been contained.
The latest: The building at 20 Lakeview Drive was still smoldering and emitting smoke as of Friday afternoon, and investigators were unable to safely enter the building to determine the cause.
Catch up quick: The fire was first reported at about 3:40am Thursday, enveloping the strip mall.
Crews were able to contain the fire to the building, but the structure and all the businesses inside are considered a total loss.
State of play: Nextdoor B & F Market and Train Car Coffee and Kava have both reopened.
